Lady Elizabeth Catherwood (1927-2026)

Dear friend,

It is with sadness that I inform you of the death of Dr. Lloyd-Jones’s eldest daughter, Lady Elizabeth Catherwood.

The family has shared that, in God’s wonderful mercy and providence, Lady Elizabeth died peacefully while surrounded by her family and friends from her church in Cambridge, England. Just yesterday, her niece read to her two of her favorite Bible passages: the wife of noble character from Proverbs 31, and the first chapter of Ruth, including Ruth’s beautiful words to Naomi.

Please join me in praying for the family during this time of loss.
