The Lord's Faithfulness in 2025 and Vision for 2026

I have often felt that the Lord has gifted me a front row seat in watching Him work through the spread of Dr. Lloyd-Jones’s sermons online, and in this respect, 2025 has not disappointed. We have added a record 7.7 million sermon listens so far this year, each one representing someone encountering the faithful exposition of Scripture through Dr. Lloyd-Jones's preaching.
Additionally, our YouTube channel has grown from 31,000 to 143,000 subscribers. I marvel at how the word of the Lord is sounding forth through these sermons, decades after they were first preached. Praise God!
Here are some additional highlights from 2025:2025:
Global Outreach Expanded
Our Spanish website translation launched mid-year and has already reached thousands of Spanish-speaking listeners worldwide. This represents a crucial step in making Reformed biblical teaching accessible to the 460+ million Spanish speakers globally.
Digital Infrastructure Strengthened
We completed significant improvements to our website infrastructure, enhancing performance while reducing operational costs. The addition of sermon FAQs has made our library of 1,600+ sermons more discoverable and useful to those seeking biblical answers to life's questions.
Enhanced User Experience
A redesigned mobile app launched this year, providing listeners with improved functionality and ease of use. We've also expanded our blog with regular content that helps users navigate our extensive sermon archive.
YouVersion Integration
Our reading plans on the YouVersion Bible app have been utilized by thousands of users, bringing Dr. Lloyd-Jones's teaching to people in the context of their daily Scripture reading.
YouTube Ministry Acceleration
Perhaps most exciting has been the growth of our YouTube presence, with over 360% subscriber growth this year alone. This platform continues to introduce Dr. Lloyd-Jones's preaching to new generations discovering the richness of expository preaching.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The Lord has placed before us new opportunities to expand this ministry's reach. Our vision for 2026 includes:
- Continued International Translations : Building on the success of our Spanish site, we're preparing to launch a second language translation, further extending the gospel reach of these sermons.
- Short-Form Content Strategy : Developing content for platforms where younger audiences are discovering theological truth, making Dr. Lloyd-Jones's timeless messages accessible in new formats.
- Enhanced Digital Platforms : Continued improvements to our website, app, and search capabilities, ensuring the best possible user experience.
- Restoring old sermons : Our volunteers continue to work to restore and publish new takes and sermons from Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones into 2026 and beyond.
The MLJ Trust remains a 501(c)(3) charity operated entirely by volunteers, with no staff salaries or office expenses. This means your donation goes directly to making these gospel-rich sermons freely available worldwide.
As we've done since our founding, we prepare our budget after—not before—our year-end appeal, allowing us to be faithful stewards of whatever funds the Lord provides through His people.
